Infrastructure
The main location of logistikum.RETAIL is the Alpha Retail Network at the Hofer KG site in Eberstalzell.
As a meeting zone between business, science and research, the infrastructure created there represents an essential enabler and central part of the innovation chain. In the course of the project, the lead partner Hofer KG is investing in a gross area of more than 20,000 m2, which is designed for approximately 500 high-quality workplaces in the final stage of development. Thus, not only new workplaces of Hofer KG will be created in Eberstalzell, but also the Hofer Academy, an infrastructure of lecture and teaching rooms as a center for training and further education in the retail of the future, and the UAS area (area: 1,200 m²).
