  1st workshop on May 8th, 2019 on robotics in the retail of the future

According to the Bearing Point Innovation Radar 2020, 7 innovations currently have the potential to rearrange the retail landscape in 2020.

Due to the development of the growth and the degree of market penetration, the subject area "Drones & Robots" was selected, analyzed and discussed at the 1st workshop and the distinction between automation and robotics including use cases was presented.

  2nd workshop on 09/11/2019 on the topic of last mile - delivery processes in retail in the future

Due to the growth in sales in online retail, the rapid increase in parcel shipments, the challenges of managing seasonal fluctuations and order peaks, and meeting customer expectations, the topic of "Last Mile - Delivery Processes in the Retail of the Future" was selected, analyzed and discussed.

  3rd workshop on December 4th, 2019 on the subject of AI applications in retail and logistics

Since the amount of data that has to be collected and processed by countless heterogeneous devices, the computing power is increasing in order to optimize the work steps in trade and logistics, the topic "Artificial intelligence applications in trade and logistics" was selected, analyzed and discussed.

  4th workshop on April 3rd, 2020 on the topic of transparency & visibility in the retail value-added network

Retail value creation networks are constantly changing. Success factors such as transparency, integrity, traceability and visibility are the drivers and responsible for presenting value networks in retail in a sustainable manner in the future.

  5th workshop on June 24th, 2020 on current retail trends

From the point of view of the participating companies, the mission of SCORE is to reduce the uncertainty associated with future research and trend recognition and to make the retail of the future and its implications more tangible and transparent in a targeted and collaborative manner. The central results of this methodology and the SCORE initiative consist, on the one hand, of a trend radar that is continuously updated and published quarterly on the SCORE platform.

The aim of this workshop was to show the development of this trend radar with the help of the Trendone software solution.

In order to be able to develop the retail trend radar, the research phase, which was composed of the collection of information about future topics, early signs, personal network discussions, trade fairs / conferences and literature analysis, including the subsequent bundling of signals on trends, was of particular importance.
