In the Retail Lab, innovations and tests for future projects and new concepts can be carried out before companies roll them out on a large scale. Retail labs have been set up for this purpose in two rooms at the site in Eberstalzell. The existing infrastructure and equipment is available for implementing projects with partners.
A project-specific test environment is coordinated between the project partners, set up technically and spatially, and adapted for the respective project in the lab. After this setup and planning phase, a project kick-off takes place and the respective test phase starts. The tests are documented, evaluated and interpreted. The results can be used in scientific publications about the project and, if necessary, also in follow-up projects.
